Job Summary:
This position will act as primary Human Resource contact for internal client. Responsible for coordination and administration of policy, compensation, compliance, organizational design, and all other HR related activities
Responsibilities include:
In collaboration with designated internal client group and through guidance of the senior HRBPs: Plans and implements human resources projects designed to maximize organizational effectiveness through personnel placement processes and job design.
* Coordinates with the Human Resources Business Unit core managers/leaders to execute objectives consistent with policies and practices.
* Provides support for talent development.
* Develops and administers the business unit Management Assessment Process (MAP).
* Acts as advocate and advisor to functional personnel on career and leadership development initiatives.
* Coordinates with Compensation department and administers compensation processes for the designated function(s) within specified approval guidelines.
* Identifies and migrates HR best practices on a regional/global basis through the Human Resources leadership.
* In collaboration with the respective functional personnel, coordinates staffing forecast to project employment/deployment needs. Where appropriate, coordinates hiring activities with the Talent Acquisition Center.
* Maintains employee job performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning monitoring, and appraising job results.
* Writes and delivers presentations to management staff regarding human resources policies and practices.
* Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing project, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
* Acts as primary contact for employee relations? issues/resolutions and ethics/compliance.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Monitors and tracks reporting from HRIS system on PMP performance and Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) processes.
* Operates within the boundaries of the Textron Business Conduct Guidelines.
* For the assigned site(s), manage the company?s ethics and compliance, benefits, total rewards, disability and compensation programs to ensure regulatory compliance, design and development of compensation strategies and programs, evaluate and recommend improvements to benefit programs and adhere and administer annual compliance reporting.
* Communicate with department heads, employees and carriers to ensure compliance with Worker?s Compensation, FMLA, STD, LTD, retirement, and other benefits.
* Develop, implement, and lead key Human Resources processes and initiatives, employee engagement events and activities, event coordination, community relations, company donations, performance management, training and development, talent and succession management, employee relations, policy development, etc.
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other appropriate discipline or comparable experience required.
* MS or MBA preferred
Position Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years as a Human Resource generalist. This position requires demonstrated experience in several HR disciplines and supporting a client base in a Business Partner role
* Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
* PHR or SPHR certification preferred
