Alesha Adams has joined Family Health West in Fruita as an occupational therapist working in the hospital inpatient unit and pediatric outpatient clinic.
Adams brings to her latest position more than 15 years of experience as a personal assistance for college students with disabilities, manager of a group home and special education teacher. Her most recent experience involved working as a pediatric occupational therapist in educational and home health settings. She holds a mater?s degree in occupational therapy from Texas Women?s University in Dallas and a bachelor?s degree in communication disorders from the University of North Texas.
?We are fortunate to have her as part of our team,? said Melissa Ippolito, rehabilitation services operations manager for Family Health West.
