I have around ?700 cash to spend on stocks, anyone know anything about buying and selling stocks
First you must decide if you want to invest (investing is generally long term) or if you want to trade (trading is more short term based on technical stuffs).
If you want really to invest, you can read investing for dummies, value investing for dummies or stock investing for dummies.
Once you are familiar with the various terms, processes, register an account with an online broker (they are cheaper) and you can start to invest.
Hi Dale,
Don?t bother, 700 quids won?t get you anywhere. You will need a minimum of $5,000 to trade stocks. Read here: http://fadi.el-eter.com/minimum-amount-t?
If you buy and sell stock regular interval it is not investment it is call trading if you hold your stock for long term it is call investment.
