Larry King isn't about to go gently into that good night.
By Gael Fashingbauer Cooper
Talker Larry King, 78,?isn't ready to be silenced, even by death.
"I want to be frozen on the hope that they'll find whatever I died of and bring me back," the former?talk-show host told a table of celebrities Sunday during "CNN Presents: A Larry King Special: Dinner with the Kings."
Conan O'Brien, Tyra Banks, Shaquille O'Neal, Seth MacFarlane, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, Quincy Jones and Russell Brand gathered with King and his wife, Shawn, at their Beverly Hills home for the special.
King may be seeking out the freezing option because he doesn't believe in an afterlife. "My biggest fear is death, because I don't think I'm going anywhere," he told the tableful of guests, saying that his wife does believe in an afterlife.
When asked by "Family Guy" creator MacFarlance if he wanted to live forever, King was succinct.
"Yeah, you bet your ass," he said.
King told CNN.com that he'd like to do more of the dinner-party specials.
What do you think about cryonics, the idea that humans can be frozen and some day resurrected? Crazy or possible? Tell us in the comments.
